The 2026 VCS/VSSO Collaborative Conference will be held at The DeSoto in Savannah, Georgia.
The DeSoto reigns as “Savannah’s Favorite Hotel,” a beloved landmark that has played gracious hostess to presidents, local personalities, and visitors since 1890. Treasured period details, including original crystal chandeliers and terracotta tiles, mix seamlessly with museum-worthy contemporary art, creating a thoughtful juxtaposition between history and modern-day style.
ROOM BLOCK OPENS: October 2025
ROOM RATE: $315 plus taxes and fees, single and double occupancy. $10.00 per night per additional adult over two adults per room. Kings and double rooms available.
Group Rate: The group rate for this conference, capped at 150 rooms, is $315 plus tax. This hotel is NOT all-inclusive. Once this block is full, attendees must find alternate accommodations at nearby hotels.
Hotel Cancellation/Early Departure Fee:
- There will be an early departure fee charged to an attendee who checks out prior to their scheduled departure date. of one night room and tax.
- Guests cancellation of their reservation less than 72 hours prior to arrival or failing to show on day of arrival will result in a charge that is equal to the first night’s stay to their credit card for each room reserved.
- Failing to call or show before 2:00 am after the first night of a reservation will result in cancellation of the remainder of their reservation.
