When we received the letter that Kathryn Taylor and the people at Veterinary Specialty Care made a donation in Ruby’s name we were so touched.  Our dog Ruby was diagnosed in July 2020 with Mast Cell Tumor cancer and Dr Taylor and her staff worked tirelessly to try and get it under control.  Ruby was a free spirit who lived life to the fullest.  She gave us joy every day.  She was her crazy enthusiastic self right up to the end and we miss her and her vitality every day.  We tried two different courses of chemotherapy and two surgeries but her cancer was very aggressive and didn’t respond to anything we threw at it.  A week before Christmas she finally succumbed to the cancer.  My husband and I and our other dog Sadie miss her every day but we know she is in a better place and driving everyone crazy in dog heaven.
