Moose was a dog that brightened a room with his wagging tail and personality. He was always happy, there were no bad days. Personal space didn’t exist in his world, he was a 90 lbs lap dog. He loved everyone but he especially loved his people. Moose was the smartest boy. He understood words and how to read a room. If someone was sad, he gave them love and comfort. He loved fetch, car rides, pup cups and anything that involved water. His favorite though was just to be loved by his family. 7/26, our world would never be the same. We found out that he had lymphoma. We decided to treat him, hoping for more good quality time. Through all his treatments he never changed, just happy go lucky as ever. His quality of life was always most important to us. Unfortunately, he developing a bacterial infection in his leg and we had to let him go on Christmas.

Michigan State University treated our boy and we cannot thank the medical staff at MSU Oncology enough for all the love, care, guidance, and knowledge that they gave us and our boy. We are so grateful for Dr Barry, Moose’s oncologist, he was the best doctor to our boy and loved him so much. We miss him everyday. Love you forever Moosey Boy 💛
