Remembering Gizmo
Sweet angel Gizmo my Puggle girl was the most loving gentle being on earth! She left me for The Rainbow Bridge on July 24, 2020 after a gallant 18 month battle with oral melanoma, just short of her 14th birthday. She did awesomely with the oral cancer vaccine, when unfortunately, she got an unrelated tumor near her liver. The 18 months the vaccine bought us with her were pricelsss!
She mothered an aging dachshund before the doxie passed, and since mothered a chi mix pup that we adopted from a bad situation! Gizmo was there for me and a great source of comfort during some of the worst times of my life: my kids leaving the nest, my father‘s illness and passing & throughout the illness and passing of my 46 year old brother! She never met a human or another animal that she didn’t love! She was the gentlest most loving angel on earth! She is heartbreakingly missed every single day!
