Bentley joined our family in Feb 2017 and we immediately fell in love with him. He was the most gentle, sweet dog we have ever owned. He loved to swim and be by our side at all times. Multiple times we had to carry him out of car as he would jump in anytime he saw us getting ready to leave. Unfortunately he couldn’t go everywhere we went! In July of 2020 I noticed his glands were swollen and took him to the vet. Initially we thought it was infection but after a couple of tests he was diagnosed with Lymphoma. He started Chemotherapy in Aug and did really well for a few months but then he came out of remission. A couple other chemo treatments were tried but we were never able to get him back into remission. Through his battle he maintained his loving and gentle demeanor. On 2/14/2021 we lost him. We feel very blessed to have had him in our lives though it was only for 4 short years. We will miss and love him forever.
