Ash was my first Curly Coated Retriever, a dog I had dreamed of having since I was a little girl. He was an extremely successful show dog and an amazingly loyal companion. We shared a very special bond with our favorite activity being snuggling on the couch. He was an AKC conformation Champion, UKC Ruby Grand Champion with multiple Best In Show wins, active in scent work, agility, coursing, weight pull, rally and obedience. Ash traveled the country competing in these various sports and touched many lives in his short time. At 4 years old he was diagnosed with an aggressive atypical mixed B and T cell lymphoma. He bravely fought for 6 months and enjoyed quality time with his family thanks to his oncologist, Dr. Lewis and her team. On 2/5/26 his fight ended peacefully surrounded by family. We miss you every day Ash and we will see you again someday.
