Apollo was truly one of the sweetest souls to have ever walked this earth! He loved everyone he met and held malice to none. He was always so excited to meet other people or dogs whenever he went on vacation. To say he was so loved and spoiled by both his immediate and extended family is an understatement. He brought so much joy and happiness to us all over the course his life. He would get so excited when we went through a McDonalds drive through as he just loved french fries and hash browns! Pancakes was also another favorite and every time he visited his Grandparents, he was made some for breakfast. Apollo was first diagnosed with type B Lymphoma in November 2022. He underwent the CHOP treatment for 5 months and went into remissions for about 7 months. Unfortunately, he came out of remission in late 2023. Rescue protocols were administered after that, but Apollo lost his fight to cancer on May 1, 2024. He was 11.5 years old. He put up a brave fight the entire time and didn’t let it get him down. He remained a very brave boy enduring all those Chemo treatments and always remained his charming self. We miss him dearly, but he will be forever in our hearts. We can’t thank Dr. Mallett and her team at VVS enough for the excellent care they provided to Apollo during his time of need. Without their skilled care, we would have lost our precious little boy much sooner.
