Synopsis: This focused specialty session on immunotherapy will bring together leading investigators in both human and veterinary translational immuno-oncology to highlight emerging strategies and opportunities at the interface of these fields. Presentations will span innovative approaches in cell therapy and genetic engineering, tumor vaccines and neoantigen discovery, and will also highlight how cross-species insights can accelerate therapeutic development and improve clinical outcomes. By integrating perspectives from veterinary oncologists, physician-scientists, and translational researchers, this session aims to foster meaningful dialogue around shared challenges and collaborative opportunities, ultimately advancing the translation of next-generation immunotherapies for the benefit of both animal and human cancer patients.
