Annual Conference in
San Diego, California

October 29-November 1, 2010
(Friday-Monday)

Loews Coronado Bay Resort

Sailing Into The Future of Cancer Care
This year’s conference will be highlighted by two world class clinician-scientists who will present their works and wisdom during their keynote, state of the art addresses. We begin with veterinary surgeon Dr. Steve Withrow, Professor of Surgical Oncology and Director of the Animal Cancer Center at Colorado State University. Dr. Withrow, who is best known for his pioneering work in limb sparing surgery, was recently named Hero in Medicine by ACVIM and has long been considered one of the founding fathers of modern veterinary oncology. The subsequent keynote speaker is physician and neurosurgeon and Co-Director of the Stanford Cyberknife Radiosurgery Program, Dr. Steven Chang. Dr. Chang’s research defines new indications and rigorously assesses clinical outcomes for patients with skull base tumors including acoustic neuromas and craniopharyngiomas, brain metastases, nasopharyngeal cancers and spinal tumors treated with radiosurgery including Cybrerknife. Steriotactic radiosurgery is becoming a key therapeutic tool in the most advanced, comprehensive veterinary and human cancer centers.
